Christian Education at Penn View

In order for the Church to be successful in meeting the needs of our "global village," quality academic training is a non-negotiable.  Quality training of our children and youth is crucial as we continue into this century.  Students in this division are prepared for effective ministry in the classroom.

Expanding the mind, shaping the character, developing the worldview and maturing the soul are important responsibilities of the Christian educator.

Classroom observation will provide a variety of educational experiences for you.  Beginning with Penn View Christian Academy, it extends to other private academies and to local public schools.

The "capstone" of the education program is your student teaching responsibilities.  For fourteen weeks, you will integrate classroom theories, group discussions, assignments, and course projects into the realities of classroom teaching.  Professional guidance and evaluations will enhance your Christian Education training.
